Judging Rings

The judging rings, here shown separated by blue and white curtains, are where the action is!  Depending on the size of the show, there are usually six or eight judges (and rings).  The judging table has a platform for the judge's examination of each cat.  Cats wait in cages behind and to the side of the judging table, and audience chairs sit in front of the table.  Each cat is assigned a number, and the cats are called to each ring according to the breed of cat, and the cat's color class within that breed.
